About DesignWish
The DesignWish team has selected our 2012 recipients! Miner and Blanche Vincent of Clinton, CT will be receiving a room makeover in 2012 for their selflessness in giving back to their community. Six years ago, Miner established a non-profit, volunteer organization… Families Helping Families. The non-profit is aptly named as the DesignWish family is pleased to help the Vincent family with a room makeover in 2012. DesignWish is a collaboration of Connecticut Shoreline interior design consultants and retail sponsors that aims to transform a room in the home of a deserving individual or family. (Nominees must live in Branford, Madison, Guilford, Clinton, Westbrook, Old Saybrook, Essex, Old Lyme, Lyme, Chester, or Deep River, CT.) The designers use a combination of redesign techniques and donations from local vendors to makeover the space.
